The Library, founded in 1817, is considered to have one of the finest collections for the study of Freemasonry. It holds 75,000 volumes, 30,000 documents and manuscripts, and a vast number of print and photographic works.
One treasure is Benjamins Franklin's 1734 printing of The Constitutions of the Free-Masons, the first Masonic book printed in America.
The Collection is available for public use within the building. Pennsylvania Masons may borrow books from the circulating library. |
